A couple of friends headed up to Ricketts Glen State Park to hike the falls trail. I wasn't able to go, but couldn't help thinking about the trip. So I snuck away for a few hours to shoot a waterfall closer to home. Not as impressive as Ricketts Glen (or as frozen), but it was still a sight to behold on a beautiful winter afternoon.

Often referred to as Holtwood Falls, I could not find an official name for this waterfall. It can be found on an unnamed tributary of the Susquehanna River. If anyone can put a name to this waterfall or stream, even if unofficial, I'd love to hear from you.
