I don't normally shoot waterfalls from the top, but the day was getting long and after a tough hike it was all that was meant to be. Maybe I'm still exhausted from the trip, but I can't help but thinking this waterfall is just a small slice of heaven.

Lewis Falls can be found on Heberly Run in State Game Lands 13, just to the west of Ricketts Glen State Park. All the waterfalls have beautiful pools of almost aquamarine water, which you can see a little in this picture. Given that I'm afraid of heights, this capture was no small accomplishment.
