Adams Falls
Adams Falls is one of the most unique looking waterfalls at Ricketts Glen. It’s been quite a few years since I visited Adams, actually close to 10 years. It’s right off route 118, but I’m always heading to the Lake Rose lot to hike the 2 branches of Kitchen Creek from the top of the mountain. This time I made it a point to stop there first. I made the short hike down to the falls and met another photographer who was down on the small ledge shooting the waterfall. He warned me it was extremely slippery. Boy was he right. I had been in the car for 2 hours, so my legs were already a little stiff. I found the longer I stood there, the more slippery it got. It was well worth the risk though and it’s truly an amazing waterfall. So unique compared to the other falls at Ricketts Glen, I’m definitely going to stop there again soon.
